Today's class was used as whole-class writing session. Happy to see classes pushing forward and using evidence to prove or debunk claims in honors, and the CP classes weaving their content into a well-structured and informative paper.

Reminder: There will be no laptop use on Thursday or Friday, as the school rolls out 1 to 1.

HOMEWORK: Make SURE that you have a completed rough draft either E-MAILED to me (link on sidebar) or that you bring a printed copy TO CLASS. You will not have an opportunity to email or print at school on Thursday

Wednesday and Friday will be a little "different" this week, but no spoilers. 😁

Thursday will be an important day in our writing process as we'll have some targeted feedback sessions with classmates to push ourselves toward productive revision.

Monday 9/25

Today's character trait is RESPONSIBILITY

Today we track ALL FOUR Habits of Work.

Homework will be checked but not turned in.

The work we do today will be considered "flex time."  After sharing some of the preparation work we've done, different people will work on different things. If you're behind, you'll continue your research and begin your planning document. If you're all up to date with your work, you'll  be working on completing your planning, and if you're ahead, you may begin working on drafting out your paper!

Tonight's Homework: You will have tomorrow as a whole-class quiet writing block. Do whatever you need to tonight to prep yourself for that.  (completing research, planning doc, etc.)
