Democratic Candidates

For this presentation, we will be in groups of 2-3 people, giving 3-4 minute PowerPoint presentations covering 4 topics:

Divide up these questions/slides between your group:

  1. Introduce your candidate. (Backstory, previous/current job, what they’re most known for)
  2. How are they doing in the current race for President? (Where do they stand in polling & in their fundraising numbers)
  3. What is their stance on immigration. (see links below)
  4. How does it differ from Donald Trump’s and current immigration policies in the US? (what would they change & what do they disagree with about Trump’s actions)
  5. Works Cited - (MLA) make a 5th slide listing sources - use candidate's website and one to two more sources you find

ROLES:
1 - Slide Creator (make slides and type in information)
2 - Facilitator (find resources and make sure group is on task)
3 - Editor (make sure the presentation has no mistakes, put slides together, keep citations)
